Voter News Network Expands Staff

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Former Birmingham Mayor Richard Arrington, Jr., joins the staff of Voter News Network on August 1, 2001. Arrington will serve as VNN's Senior Vice President for Administration and Director of Political Affairs. "I am delighted to have Dr. Arrington on board", said VNN Publisher Donald V. Watkins. "His association with our organization is exciting. His experience and expertise in the political arena will advance the goals and mission of Voter News Network", Watkins added.

Dr. Arrington is chairman of the Jefferson County Citizens Coalition, a powerful political organization founded in Birmingham, AL in the 1970s.
